IntiMint.com: Love at first sight?

IntiMint.com  Review:

Yes, I love it!

I like the fact that there are 500 pages of items to review. Normally by the time I have reached the 10th page, I already forgot about the other items I previously liked.

Believe or not, I have never been a big fan of Victoria Secret's. Going to their store or website, is too time consuming for me. I get overwhelmed and normally  just walk right out.

1. The first reason I love IntiMint- Simplicity of the selection.
2. The Packaging was absolutely cute and could be re-used.  Everything was neatly wrapped and organized. 3. They also sent a lingerie baggie to wash my undies- too cute.  I already had some of these- I will use this extra one for traveling. Or Maybe this could go on the lovely Holiday baskets that I make.

I received my first order a couple of weeks ago. I totally fell in-love with the packaging.
I also received a some freebies, Marc Jacobs Pen and Mirror (which I will gift for the holidays). My two panties. All for $20.00, this includes shipping.

This is what I ordered:

This was my lovely Freebie:
I was not provided any compensation for the above review.

ITZBEEN

ITZBEEN

I was doing the registry for my son when i saw ITZBEEN for the first time.

I wasn't sure of how helpful a timer would be for a second time mom, who didn't use one the first time around. Though I decided I should give it a chance because now with two kids I will certainty have more going on. Multi tasking between could make it very hard to accurately keep track of how long it had been since I had fed the baby, changed his diaper or wonder if I took my pills.

ITZBEEN Timer is great!! sturdy, easy to read, operate and handle. It was very light weight and portable as well. There is a built in night light to read in the dark as well as the ability to turn its light off after seven minutes, which is really useful.

Great Bridal Expo in NYC - Nay

Verdict: 1/5

GBE LogoNEW YORK MARRIOTT MARQUIS

Last night I attended the Great Bridal Expo in NYC at the Marriott Marquis in the heart of the city.

I have to admit that I work a couple of blocks away and I do not get to enjoy NYC enough. I was excited about walking over to 42nd.

This is the description provided by  Great Bridal Expo website:

Bridal Guide is proud to be a part of the
The Great Bridal Expo
, the nation's largest touring bridal exhibition. The expo features aisles of top wedding professionals, fashion shows with the latest in bridal attire, and chances to win fabulous giveaways such as honeymoons, gowns, home furnishings and more. Find the show nearest you and start planning the wedding of your dreams today!

When I was looking for a bridal event to attend, I wasn't sure about this one because it promises to be the biggest bridal show, but their website doesn't say much.( except for the above). I ended up getting a ticket because I found a discount code which made the event free. The event was also very close to my job, so I wasn't going out of my way.

How was it? In my opinion very poorly planned.
Line:
The line was extremely long, but it went pretty quickly so it wasn't too bad of a wait. While waiting, it was extremely hot. I had to take off my cardigan. I though it was just me getting hot-flashes, but no, other people were taking off some of the garments as well.
Vendors:
Lots of vendors. Most of the same category. Photographer after photographer. Travel agency here and there.
The event was overcrowded. Perhaps, if they organized properly, they should consider time-slots. I couldn't get to the booths. I think we talked to maybe less then half, maybe less then a quarter, of the vendors.
They had only one florist- who sponsored the event- so, that wasn't biased at all. A couple of venues and Tons, I mean tons of photographers with a few random vendors here and there.

Avis Welcome to my travels. Enterprise Exits

Thumbs up: Avis
Thumbs down : Enterprise

Avis store that captured my heart and pockets :
Midtown Manhattan E 43rd St
(between 2nd & 3rd Av)
217 E 43rd St
NEW YORK CITY, NY 10017 US

The Review:

I have a work function to attend and I need a car rental. Enterprise was calling me.

Enterprise. I always use them. I got my license pretty late ( not the normal 16 ), and I remember passing my road test and going straight to Enterprise. That was a great day.

Today!!!!! Not so much.

I made my reservation. Got there for pick. The crew was pleasant as usual.
The contract process began. The manager advised me they couldn't rent me the car because I had another car rental out. It was personal rental and this a corporate rental. But that didn't matter to them!!!!

I had to find another rental within half hour to take on my four lonely drive.

I asked why did their system allowed me to RSVP. Their system doesn't realize the conflict until they are actually processing the rental.

I was fortunate enough that my company has a concierge who did all the leg work to get me the new rental.

The new rental was with Avis. I have found a new love. Avis had gps. They had Easy Pass. I got a free upgrade from full size to an SUV ( granted all companies do this when they don't have the size vehicle you reserved).

I love the set up of the shop.

I was in and out within 10 minutes (enterprise normally takes about 30 minutes if there's no line ).

Enterprise is now out. Welcome Avis.

Boogie Wipes

Boogie Wipes
I was looking for an alternative to using the nasal saline spray, which my kids dislike.
The boogie wipes are perfect. They do a great job at getting the crusty boogie stuff off, and my kids don’t scream and cry.
I recommend trying them once and you will become an Ambassador for the brand!
They are a bit pricey, but the substitutes wipes are not the same at all!
They are worth every penny.
